NBJC Celebrates Martin Luther King Day

By Co-Sponsoring Tonight’s
Presidential Democratic Debate

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's 79th Birthday, America’s only national Black LGBT civil rights organization, The National Black Justice Coalition will co-sponsor tonight's Democratic Presidential Debate in Myrtle Beach, SC hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and CNN.
Statement from Jasper Hendricks, NBJC Director of Field Operations and Political Affairs:
NBJC's historic and visible presence at tonight's debate alongside the Congressional Black Caucus Institute is proof that we are continuing to realize Dr. King’s dream where all people are able to liveopenly, honestly and with equal access to all rights afforded us as citizens of the United States.

As both an heir and the product of the civil rights movement, we humbly stand as a new generation of champions for human rights grounded in the principles of Dr. King. As a black and openly gay civil rights organization, we too have a dream of equality for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation or gender.
Presidential Debate Details:
Tonight's presidential debate will be aired nationally on CNN 8pm E.T. NBJC will provide a full analysis of the debate along with pictures of the night’s events on Tuesday.
