Emily Leugers_

Emily Leugers serves as the Special Projects Manager at the National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC).  As Special Projects Manager, she supports the work of the Executive Director and Director of Public Policy and Programs, drafts communication for the organization, including the monthly newsletter, supports the development of events, including the Black Institute, OUT on the Hill, and the Wisdom and James Baldwin Legacy Awards, and support our internship program.

Emily graduated cum laude from Colorado State University with a degree in political science concentration in U.S. Government, Law, and Policy and a minor in Political Communications. During college, she spent a semester working as an intern at NBJC through the Washington Center program. After graduating, she served as a program consultant and Executive Assistant at NBJC. 

The National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) is a civil rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and same gender loving (LGBTQ/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS.
