EVENT: Black LGBT Emerging Leaders Day, Feb. 21-22, 2013
The National Black Justice Coalition, in conjunction with the Human Rights Campaign and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, is pleased to host the 2013 Black LGBT Emerging Leaders Day in Washington, DC. Select events will take place on February 21-22, 2013.
If you plan to attend, you must forward your travel itinerary once booked if you are traveling from out-of-town. The most pressing deadline is the confirmation of the White House briefing, hosted by The White House Office of Public Engagement, and the White House East Wing Tour as outlined below and in the RSVP spreadsheet attached.

You are invited to participate in a policy briefing at the White House for black LGBT emerging leaders, as part of the White House’s celebration of Black History Month. Participants will hear about President Obama’s commitment to equal rights for all Americans and the important steps his Administration has taken to ensure health, well-being, security, justice, and equality for black and LGBT Americans. Participants are also invited to attend an East Wing Tour at 9:00 AM on either Thursday, February 21 or Friday, February 22. Please indicate your interest and availability in the attached RSVP spreadsheet. Space is limited and first come, first serve.
